My Story

My love for soapmaking began when I was a young girl watching my grandmama stir a metal pot over a wood fire outside. She made the soap our family used for everything — washing clothes, bathing, and everyday living. There was no written recipe, no calculator, no measuring tools. Her knowledge came from experience passed down through generations.

Today, every batch of soap I make is carefully crafted and run through a lye calculator, but the heart of the process remains the same. I still think of her — how fascinated I was by the way she worked, and how I wondered why she didn’t just buy soap from the store. Now I understand. It wasn’t just soap. It was tradition, resourcefulness, and love.

That legacy inspires every bar I create. Pure and simple, making soap brings me joy. As I share my products with you, my greatest hope is that using them brings a little joy to your day too.

Just as with my soap, I wanted to expand my creativity into other products designed to indulge and protect your skin. Each item is crafted with the same care, intention, and joy that first inspired me as a young girl watching my grandmama make soap over a wood fire.
